About MiChelle J Grant
MiChelle Julittee Grant, affectionately called MJ, is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN) in South Carolina and North Carolina with over 25 years of nursing experience spanning Jamaica and the United States. She practices at South Charlotte General and Vascular Surgery under the supervision of Dr. James Antezana.
MJ specialized in ICU nursing (medical/surgical, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular ICUs), peri operative, post-anesthesia, and postoperative care. She began her career in Jamaica after earning her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Northern Caribbean University (NCU), Jamaica, West Indies. In 2017, she transitioned to the U.S., working at PMC in Rock Hill and MUSC Chester and Lancaster as a PACU nurse, while also gaining experience as a travel PACU nurse nationwide.
MJ holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization from South University and a Master of Science in Health Psychology from Walden University. Guided by her personal motto: “Be a leader, not a follower,” MJ is passionate about lifelong learning and plans to pursue a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). She is proud to provide skilled, compassionate, and evidence-based care to the South Charlotte community.
